Sean Matlis Neuro Research Specialist
We are thrilled to announce the hiring of Sean Matlis, MS, MS, PhD to serve as director of Research for the Foundation for Regenerative Medicine. In addition to an incredible educational background as described below he has published on EEG in the autism patient – an area of intense research for our foundation. He has also done research with mesenchymal stem cells which is the core interest of our foundation. We believe he is the ideal scientist to help usher in a new era of growth in our research efforts.
Sean received his bachelor of science degree in mathematics and also his bachelor of science in biology with high distinction from the University of Illinois. He then received a Master of Science degree from the Weizman Institute in Israel in Molecular Neuroscience and a second Master of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Mechanical Engineering. This was followed by the granting of a PhD in Computational Neuroscience from Boston University.
