Kennedy Disease

“As I mentioned to [Dr. Prodromos] before, walking in the sand has been impossible for me for the last five years even with other people's support. After the second treatment in Antigua, my constant pain in both legs is gone (to date). In addition, for the last five years I had a progressive sharp pain, especially in the lower part of both legs which made hard to keep my balance.

My wife keeps telling me that after the treatment she can understand me better when I talk now and that my speech is a bit clearer.

I was diagnosed with Kennedy's Disease in 2010 and ever since the disease has been slowly progressed with all the underlying symptoms (fatigue, loss of muscle. slurred speech, sleep apnea, muscle fasciculations, loss of balance, headaches and brain fog). 

I have been to two different neurologists, and their response has been the same that there is no cure and that any treatment is only symptomatic. Nothing I have tried so far has helped relieve any of the symptoms that includes physical therapy, supplements, vitamins and even rest. 

Energy level was very low before the treatment. Now I feel more energetic (to date) and I already got all kinds of projects accomplished. I really hope this lasts for a long time thanks to you. I feel more hopeful about my future.

Seems that the first three weeks after the treatment my quality of sleep was best. I have to say that to this day my deep sleep has improved ( I have kept a log ever since I started using a bi-pap machine for my sleep apnea) namely the hours (I use to sleep an average of 4.5 to 5 hours) now my average has gone up to 6.5 hours per night and my REM and DEEP sleep has improved as well. The last three years I experienced a noticeable loss of concentration while trying to read more than a couple pages of any kind of article or math problem also noticed that I had a small issue in focusing long distance. 

Ever since the treatment I can read (And I read a 30-page legal document!) with no effort.

Focusing on long distance objects is not an issue to date.

Dexterity in both hands have improved. Before the treatment I couldn't hold and twist a screwdriver or any kind of tool for very long. Now I can finish most jobs.

So far grip strength on left hand stands at 6kg and 4.75kg on the right.

“Dear Dr. Prodromos

It has been three weeks since my exosome stem cell treatment. So far, my pain in my lower back and legs is gone.

My walking endurance and balance have improved by at least 15-20%. Energy level is still very good.

Sleeping quality seems lower compared to what was during the first week of the treatment.

most likely due to my central sleep apnea and weakness of my diaphragm associated to Kennedy's Disease.

Considering a waste in muscle of about 3% p/year over the last twenty years, I will say that I am doing pretty good so far. I have also noticed that muscle fasciculations have eased by approx. 50%.

Brain fog is still gone, and I can focus better especially on long distance objects.

My hand grip seems a bit stronger, and I can now hold a screwdriver much better to repair things at home (Previously had a hard time to hold tools) I bought an electronic hand dynamometer, and I will monitor my strength level. (Will keep you posted).

Noteworthy is the fact that my stress level has gone down which is something amazing for me especially due to the fact that I worked in the restaurant industry all my life.
